Duluth to utilize auction funds to buy PCs

The Duluth Planning and Development Department has bought three new vehicles. One used vehicle was sent to auction. After commission and expenses, the city got $6,025 in auction continues for the vehicle.

The Duluth Planning and Development Department has bought three new vehicles. One used vehicle was sent to sell. After commission and expenses, the city got $6,025 in auction continues for the vehicle.

To outfit the new vehicles for use by department staff, PCs and in-car mounts must be bought. The Duluth City Council recently affirmed $5,000 of the auction continues to buy the computers.

The Planning and Development Department is responsible for leading development audits and inspections, controlling applications for land-use changes and modifications, upholding city laws and ordinances, giving licenses, as well as different obligations.

The Planning and Development Department likewise oversees Duluth’s Comprehensive Plan and coordinates long-range planning efforts with other government offices at the county, state, and federal levels.
